Overview of our Curriculum

Our courses are an integral part of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Systems Engineering for Manufacturing.
They impart theoretical fundamentals and practical application knowledge. The aim is to develop an understanding of tasks in the field of planning, design and control of cyber-physical production systems. The focus is on mastering methods for solving these tasks, taking into account a holistic and systemic view of production systems as socio-technical systems that must be created and operated in an economic and social context. Building on the methodological foundations of factory and production systems, our advanced courses primarily impart applied knowledge for the sustainable design, configuration, control and optimisation of production processes in the context of their ongoing digitalisation.
