Anna-Kristin Behnert attended the Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg and completed her bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering (specialization: logistic) in 2018. In her Master's degree, she switched to the Digital Engineering programme at the Faculty of Computer Science and completed his studies there in 2021. Since April 2019 she has been working as technical employee at the IAF and since april 2021 as research assistant at the IAF.

Entwurfsprozesse für Produktionssysteme sind durch Ingenieursleistungen charakterisiert, an denen unterschiedlichste Ingenieursdisziplinen mit für diese spezialisierten Entwurfswerkzeugen beteiligt sind und in deren Rahmen unterschiedlichste Entwurfsergebnisse zwischen diesen Entwurfswerkzeugen konsistent ausgetauscht werden müssen. Bisher sind für diesen Informationsaustausch unterschiedliche Technologien entstanden, die verschiedene Anforderungen des Datenaustausches zum Beispiel hinsichtlich Informationsstrukturierung, Informationssicherheit und Informationskonsistenz erfüllen können.
Ziel des Projektes ist es, einige dieser Technologien in einem gemeinsamen Szenario zusammen zu führen und anwendenden Unternehmen zu ermöglichen, ihre Entwurfsprozesse schrittweise an die Nutzung dieser Technologiemenge anzupassen. Besondere Bedeutung wird dabei das international standardisierte Datenaustauschformt AutomationML (nach IEC 62714) besitzen.
